The Journey of a Sith Trader

I'm a 56-year-old Air Force brat who spent my entire childhood travelling the world with my parents. I was posted to more Air bases than I care to remember, but each move shaped who I am today. In 1984, my family was stationed in Baden-Baden, Germany, where my father had a contract to install flight simulators.

While in Germany, I worked for the Army for 6 years, went to school, and graduated Grade 13 in Baden-Baden. I was awarded my diploma by the Governor General of Canada, the Honourable Jeanne Sauvé - a moment that still fills me with pride.

The Stockbroker Years

I went on to study Business Finance at Schiller International University to become a stockbroker. I graduated in 1990 and quickly realized that working on a trading floor was not for me - I had exotic dreams of force choking my associates! The corporate world wasn't my calling.

Adventure was more up my alley, so I decided to travel Europe as a truck driver. The freedom of the open road, the different cultures, the experiences - it was exactly what I needed. I came back to Canada in 1994 and launched a trucking company hauling cars across North America.

During this whole time, I continued to trade part-time. Trading was always in my blood, even when I was behind the wheel of a truck. I was learning, evolving, and developing what would eventually become my Candle Range Theory methodology.

The Turning Point

I sold the trucking company in 2021 - hence some big self-funded capital - and decided to start trading full-time and teach a few people I had met along the way. Four years later, here I am teaching full-time because I fell in love with it.

This year, I decided to write an ebook and sell it - the CRT Handbook you see today. I also did the whole prop firm thing and got an additional $800K in funding, which funds my Star Wars addictions. Just go look at my office - it's a shrine to the Dark Side! I also keep a 10TB Google Drive that holds one of the largest collections of trading courses ever assembled - everything from full courses, to E-Books, to PDFs, and just about everything revolving around trading.
